Closure
Just to put some closure to this blog site, let me say that our home remodel project was completed ON TIME, AS PROMISED by our contractor, Rob London of State of the Art Builders.
We moved back into our house on December 17, 2005, the weekend before Christmas. It was truly the best Christmas present we ever received.
In total, we doubled the size of our home, from just under 1000 square feet of living space to a total of abut 1900 square feet. We went from a one bedroom, one bathroom house, to a four bedroom, two bathroom house. We also added a large family room, and a mud/laundry room adjacent to the kitchen. We also added a large retaining wall in our back yard.
We've now been in the house for over six months, and it's still great to come home to.
